Friends of the Children - LA (FOTC-LA) is impacting generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors – 12+ years, no matter what.

What We Did

The Lightbulb Creative worked to provide a bold, new look for their year-end giving campaign. Having a well-deserved mission and established organization, FOTC - LA needed an, elevated, cohesive and on-brand campaign including both digital and print design collateral for their multi-channel approach.

We began by understanding the organization with our discovery session and worked to modernize the brand by presenting two stylescape designs, both authentic to the brand, for the team to choose from. Once we established the overall design aesthetic, the annual impact report mailing was created with a focus on clear structure, scannable formats, and content that resonated with a diverse audience.

The new annual report provided the ideal launch of the year-end giving campaign. Combining custom email marketing strategy and design, thank you letters, shareable graphics, and more, we not only showcased the impact of donor support, increased overall open and click-through-rates,  but the campaign garnered positive feedback with the board, philanthropic partners and the Friends of the Children - LA team.
